TEAM NEWS AND RUN OF PLAY

Middlesbrough’s 10 match unbeaten came to an end last week and they now sit on a two match losing snap.  Cardiff away was an acceptable loss as The Welshman are unstopabble at home but last match Bristol CIty bowled up at the Riverside on the back of an 11 match run without a win. No-one expected the 3-1 Bristol City winning result and the manner they took the win was shocking too. This Bristol side who looked so abject for the last few months played a superb counter attacking game and Middlesbrough looked a little lost. A poor week has saw Tony Mowbray shake his head at his teams inadequate perforamance. Midfielder Grant Leadbitter sits out the game with suspension, as do Jonathan Woodgate and Faris Haroun with injuries.
Huddersfield are far too inconsistent and are very much reliant on their two star strikers. If Vaughan and Beckford are unavailable they are at a massive disadvantage. At the weekend they fielded neither player and looked a shadow of the side we know they are. They seem bouyed with the pair playing but confidence evaporates should they not.  Without them at the weekend they travelled to London to take on Charlton and played an average game. They were lucky in truth to scrape a point as The Addicks were far superior. Huddersfield have big injury problems and key men Vaughan and Beckford miss out, sitting out also will be Jimmy Spencer, Keith Southern and Adam Clayton. Sean Scannell is a huge doubt and is likely to sit out too.
