TEAM NEWS AND RUN OF PLAY

Middlesbrough are an outside chance to do well this season. After a perceived poor start to the season Tony Mowbray's men still sit in 7th only 3 points behind league leaders Leicester. Another good point is the return of several key players. Back for this game also are Kevin Thomson, Adam Reach and Stuart Parnaby while Merouane Zemmama is likely to feature also. Middlesbrough showed their credentials with a fantastic 1-0 away win over Brighton.
Hull continued their winning ways last time out with a late 2-1 victory over Ipswich. After a run of three successive losses Steve Bruce returned to basics with a change of formation and a less attacking philosophy. Hull were less than convincing against the leagues big stugglers and had to rely on a last minute winner to take the three points. Hull are a good team and have a really good squad, the manager though is a negative for me as Steve Bruce is not a top coach even in this division.

Middlesborough conversely are on the up and even though they have still to really click they are flying. I like the fact Boro are in the position they are even after supposed to be in such poor form.
