TEAM NEWS AND RUN OF PLAY

Middlesbrough sit comfortably in fourth position only 2 points behind automatic promotion. However they keep throwing the odd horror show in and have lost a few games lately in embarrassing performances. Birmingham, Bristol City and Derby all took the victories when Boro never showed up. The fact they don't tend to draw many is helping them big time. Boro have been boosted by the return of five 1st teamers after injury. Defender Andre Bikey, George Friend and Seb Hines are back. With midfielders Emmanuel Ledesma and Faris Haroun back too. Marvin Emnes is the only new injury worry.

Watford are in a similar position to hosts Boro. They are capable of destroying teams with ease and are a very good footballing side. But they too have a soft side and are not consistent enough. Conceding four at home to the normally powder puff Charlton side is a case in point. Back for The Hornets are keeper Manuel Almunia and midfielder Almen Abdi. Sitting out will be defenders Nueton and Tommy Hoban.

Boro have several key men returning and should have enough to beat Watford. I can see plenty of goals here and think the home side will score more.
