I took a good win last week with MK Dons and I was really impressed with their performance. They steamrollered Rotherham 4-1 to lead the table after game week 1. Fair enough Rotherham are not expected to do much but it was the manner in which Dons picked them apart. I see good things for the new boys this season and firmly believe we can get some cracking prices early season as the bookies seem slow onto them.  They made 10 changes for the midweek Capital One cup and looked to be going out the competition as they trailed Leyton Orient nearing the full time whistle. They scored twice in injury time to take the tie and confidence around the camp must be buzzing. They have a quality squad with real depth and I have no hesitation backing them again. Preston opened up solidly enough with a 0-0 home draw with league favourites Middlesbrough. They triumphed in midweek cup action with a 3-1 win over Crewe, a game they couldn’t rotate all the players in. Jermaine Beckford and Tom Clarke.are both unlikely to feature and both will be missed. Clarke out means the preferred 3-5-2 formation will be amended as he doesn’t have the required three fit central defenders.

Bet of the day here in England Championship. MK Dons seem undervalued by the bookmakers and that’s great news for me, you and our bank balance.  We take the -0.25 and need a MK win to get paid, a draw sees half stakes returned.
