TEAM NEWS AND RUN OF PLAY

Peterborough's run of wins was halted away to Bristol City but they were hampered from the off after a 10 minute red card for Lee Tomlin for violent conduct. Credit to Posh they still gave the game a go and were overrun in the end but did manage to score twice. After a run of three wins against Cardiff, Bolton and Wolves it was a case of too much, too soon. Peterborough will be without Tomlin due to suspension. Impressive youngster George Thorne was recalled to West Brom and will be missed.

Barnsley sacked Keith Hill as The Tykes slipped to the bottom of the table. It was a bit harsh for me as he was given next to no money and hard nothing to work with. Barnsley tried to play their way out of trouble but with the little talent available it was always going to be mission impossible. The task was made infinitely more difficult after star man Marcus Tudgay broke is collarbone in the last match. Emile Sinclair is ineligible so cast out Marlon Harewood returns to the fold. Last time he played he looked a pale imitation of the once feared striker and was woefully out of touch. Jacob Mellis, Akos Buzsaky and Martin Cranie will miss out again.
