Preston host Fulham at Deepdale in this England Championship game. Preston opened the season up with a poor performance in truth as they went down 1-0 to Reading. Although only losing 1-0 they had only 29% possession in the game and looked below par going forward. They are without their skipper Tom Clarke again with injury and Stevie May and Calum Woods remain on the sidelines. Fulham were impressive in the opening match and coach Slavisa Jokanovic has something of a dilemma in team selection as only Ryan Fredericks is unavailable. Fulham opened the season with a 1-0 home win over league favourites Newcastle. Fulham played well for long periods and looked much more balanced and far more organised than last year.
I cannot see many goals here and maybe just the one goal may be enough to win the match. Preston are decent at the back but are not impressive going forward. Fulham are solid themselves and with a small start are a good bet. One of the three best bets for me of the weekend (Reading and Ipswich being the other two)
