Rotherham have done little to suggest they are not relegation favourites and likely to finish rock bottom of Championship. Two league losses (both 2-1) to Nottingham Forest and MK Dons. Both teams have lost their only other games so not two of the major Championship sides it would seem. Two doubts for the home side with Danny Ward and Joe Mattock not 100% - coach Steve Evans is loathe to lose either player as he doesn’t have the quality coming in from the bench. Jordan Hughill is missing for Preston having received a red card against MK Dons. Preston played well to record a 1-0 away win and stifle the home side. With a 0-0 draw already under their belts against early league favourites Boro its been a cracking start for North End. Jermaine Beckford may take a place on the bench here for his season debut. A big plus for the Lancashire side if he gets any game time as quality at this level.
Really impressed with the backline of Preston and they have surprised me with the ease in which they have adapted to the higher league. Rotherham will try and set the pace here as they really need some sort of result and that could be ideal for North End,
