Sheffield Wednesday are another team I have high hopes on winning some money, but not for the right reasons. I had them to go down at 10-1 which is a cracking price. They have totally overhauled their squad but have brought in a load of foreigners with no experience of this difficult league. They have a manager with little idea of what he’s getting himself into with Championship a very tough league indeed. Coach Carlos Carvalhal comes from Portugal and better qualified men than him have failed dramatically here. With no time to gel he will throw a load of strangers together and hope for the best. defender Claude Dielna and midfielder Filipe Melo (no not that one!) both miss out. Bristol City won League 1 with ease last year and played some excellent football. They have kept all the players from last year with the additions of Ryan Fredericks from Spurs and striker Jonathan Kodjia. They only have the bare 17 to make the side but for now that’s not a problem with no injury worries. If coach Cotterill doesn’t flesh the side out in the coming weeks they could struggle with no back up.

Too much going on for Wednesday and with a fresh and fully fit Bristol City side comfortable with each other and fully gelled we should have an upset here. We get Bristol at +0.25 so get paid on the win, a draw sees half a win and half stakes returned.
