WATFORD - DERBY PREDICTIONS AND PREVIEW: BETTING STATS AND FACTS

Watford are flying at the moment and sit in 3rd position with a run that has seen them win 6 of the last 8 with just one defeat in that time. A run that has seen them score 19 times while conceding just 6. Watford are just 3 points behind 2nd placed Hull and need to keep up their fine run to keep up. With 18 wins, 5 draws and 10 losses they are looking good for the playoffs at least. Wingback Daniel Pudil is unlikely to feature but The Hornets do have a rested Matej Vydra and Cristian Battochio. Both players were given a break in midweek.

Derby are not in the best of form and will do well to challenge Watford at all in this game. With just the one win in eight matches for Nigel Clough's side things are not too great at the moment. Derby remain competitive at home but are usually brushed aside on their travels. With just 3 away wins in 16 games they are not the same side away. Another ridiculous England Championship price. 1.91 for the home side is a HUGE price. Some books offer 1.70 and for me that is value. Watford are playing several levels above Derby. The Rams are decent at home but cannot be trusted away and with a large injury list which contains key defensive men they stand no chance. Watford have Vydra returning and this player looks Premiership class for sure. Easy home win here and a bet not to be missed.
