TEAM NEWS AND RUN OF PLAY

Watford are too inconsistant at the moment and this season will be one of consolidation and nothing more. With the appointment of Zola and the huge turnaround in playing staff too much was changed too soon. They are capable of moments of great play and they had to cracking back to back wins over Huddersfield and Charlton but typically followed up with a meak home loss against Middlesborough. Zola will continue with the 3-5-2 formation he prefers and will be without centre back Nueton who is injured and key striker Matej Vydra who was sent off last match.
Peterborough are a better side away from home and the 3-5-2 formation suits them, its a wonder Ferguson doesn't utilise it home. Nottingham Forest last match at home they went with it and were the better side, they were unlucky to lose that game. Peterborough are starting to perform now after an awful run of 7 straight losses. The players are looking more confident and they should start picking up points. They are slightly better defensively than recent years and have sacrificed a bit going forward to shore the backline up. Midfielder Grant McCann returned from international duty with a slight knock but is expected to be fit,t while long term injury Peter Grant is no nearer a return.

With both sides lining up in 3-5-2 formations and both sides setting out to play football we could be in for a treat here. I think Peterborough are just lacking a belief in themselves, away from home they seem free of pressure and look a different side. Watford are all over the place and are a difficult side to pin down. I am not convinced at all by Gianfranco Zola the coach and he has shown little so far this season to change my mind. 5.22 for a Peterborough side who are not far behind Watford is too big.
