TEAM NEWS AND RUN OF PLAY

Watford recorded a fine win with a 6-1 demolition of Leeds at Elland Road. Gianfranco Zola's collection of loan signings totally destroyed the home side. It must be pointed out though that Leeds had a man sent off in the 1st half and lost a man to injury after having no subs left due to Warnocks cavalier approach to make three changes at half time. Watford hammered Leeds though and played some fine football. It is keeping with Watfords season so far though, as they are capable of the sublime and the ridiculous within the same week. Gianfranco Zola's mix of talented imports and Watford stalwarts are beginning to look like the side we thought they would be at the start of the season. Out for the game are Amin Abdi, John Eustace, Prince Bauban and Nyron Nosworthy. Available though are Daniel Pudil, Alex Giejo and Fitz Hall.

Wolverhampton are on a downward trend after after only 1 win in 7 games, with 3 defeats in that time. Last time out they were clearly second best against a strong Brighton side, but even with 10 men for 45 minutes Wolves battled hard and sheer force of will bagged them a point. Wolves are a side we have gotten against for many weeks recently due to the bookmakers consistenly overrating them, they are an average side who are solid but predictable. Stale Solbakken has no new injury worries and goes into the game with an unchanged squad. Karl Henry sits out with another three match ban and will be missed. Long term injuries remain with Slawomir Peszko, Razak Boukari,Stephen Hunt, George Elokobi, Jamie O'Hara.

Watford at 2.30 (BetVictor)is the selection. This is a ridiculous price and should be nearer 2.00. Watford are in much better form and are playing much better football than their opponents. Watford will be soaring after their destruction of Leeds away and Wolves seem to be stuck in a rut. Skipper Karl Henry is a big loss and I expect Watford to have a nice win here.

Watford is the pick here at 0 (1.69 Pinnacle) Watford are a big price for the game but I have a small doubt about the draw. I like Watford though and think they might have it easy. Just the motivation of the home side stops me going mad on Watford. I wonder if the loan players really have the club at heart and can they if they know they will be back at Udinese or Granada before long. Wolves may be able to sneak a draw so we take the draw no bet as insurance.
