Two sides going in different directions in Confernence National. Chester have opened up with a 5-0 home loss to Barnet and a loss away at Forest Green. They did up their game last week by beating Braintree 3-1 away. Halifax in contrast have started superbly with three straight wins. Beating Southport and Welling at home (scoring 3 times in both games) and Dover away. Chester have doubts over midfielders Kingsley James and John Rooney. Halifax have no injury problems.
Chester are way behind Halifax level at the moment and they will do well to get anything out of the game.Halifax have a huge traveling support also and at this game home advantage generally means little anyway. I take Halifax to make it four straight wins here.
