CHESTER - HEREFORD: PREDICTIONS

Conference football for the 1^st time ever for this side who rose from the ashes of Chester City. Hereford are the opponents in this historical match.

This Chester side does not have any affilation to the side ruined by business men in the mid 2000’s. This side has only been in existence since 2010 and has seen a remarkable run of form.  With huge crowds (at the lower non-league levels) they rose up with three back to back promotions to take their place in the top non-league division. They are an outside tip for the title but opened up with an heavy 3-0 loss to quite a strong Barnet side. A couple of doubts for Chester with starter Ben Mills and squad member Alex Tichinier awaiting fitness tests.

Hereford were bouncing around League 1 as recently as 2007 but  have suffered a few relegations and found themselves dropping out of the league altogether. Hereford only have a tiny squad and do not seem prepared for me for an arduously long season. They opened up poorly though with a 1-1 home draw against a Braintree side not expected to do well. No injury or suspension worries for Hereford.
