Its England FA Cup final time and two of the oldest teams in league go head to head. This should be an exciting ding dong battle as resurgent Aston Villa will have a go at Arsenal. Wenger goes for a record 6th FA Cup winners title that’s a decent return. No league titles for this team but they are a good side. Arsenal finished in 3rd position with 75 points from 38 games. Recent form for the was 4 wins, 4 draws and 1 loss. Arsenal are without Danny Walbeck but do have Arteta, Oxlade-Chamberlain and Debuchy back from injury. Villa ended the season well and Sherwood did get them safe with games to spare. To be fair to him he transformed the team into an attacking side and he has to be given plaudits. I wont because I think he an idiot but his team did respond to him. Last 9 for them saw 4 wins, 1 draw and 4 losses (wins over Spurs, Liverpool, Everton and West Ham showing their prowess) Some returning players for Villa too with Shay Given, Aly Cissokho, Kieran Richardson and Jores Okore all fit.
The bet of this game is goals. Although FA Cup finals are generally tight affairs this one looks open. Villa attack well but they don’t seem to be capable of defending. Arsenal are supreme attackers and although a bit tighter do let in goals. Both score yes looks abet at 10-11 or 1.91.
