Alan Pardew has never really progressed in the FA Cup. I always get the impression he sees it as a distraction as he generally focusses on league survival. Last 7 in the league see 3 wins, 2 draw and 2 losses – Scott Dann is an injury doubt while skipper Jedinak is still not 100%. Liverpool have welcomed back Daniel Sturridge and the striker is already looking sharp. With Balotelli on the scoresheet last match too things are looking good. Sterling will likely miss this one too.
