FULHAM v SHEFFIELD UNITED : TOTAL GOALS BETTING TIPS AND PREDICTIONS

Fulham coach Rene Muelensteen has already promised to play a strong side here. After a 1^st leg draw in Sheffield coupled with some further poor league results he basically cannot continue losing. Chairman are getting edgy now and wins are needed. Fulham sit bottom of Premier League with 6 wins from 24 games.  Recent form has been poor with just  1 win in 7 games (2 draws and 4 losses) – None of the new signings are eligible to play in the cup, while Riise and Amorebieta will sit out injured. Back though are Richardson and Reither. Sheffield United occupy a similar position in their division to Fulham. They sit in 23^rd in League One, just 1 point from safety. One win in 6 games for United too. Billy Painter and Elliot Whitehouse are ineligible for the tie.

A 1-0 or 2-0 scoreline looks the best option to me. I see Fulham playing for the win here but to do so they need to tighten up. Sheffield have nowhere near the quality upfront that any Premiership side has so I see a rare clean sheet for The Cottagers. I don’t really see Fulham running away with it either. They can kill the game off without expending too much energy so they can have full focus on the weekend premiership tie. Low goals look good to me and give the safety net of the upset 0-0 or 1-1 plus the surprise United sneaky win.
