Premiership Reading takes on League one Sheffield United in this FA Cup 4^th round clash.  Reading have been struggling near the bottom of the table all season but have found some excellent recent form.  They are up to 18^th place with 4 wins out of 5 games in all competitions and are riding a high which will hopefully take them out of the bottom 3.

Sheffield United are looking strong in League 1 and are currently in 5^th position.  They are 8 points away from 2^nd place and automatic promotion so it looks like the playoffs are their best chance of going up.  They have been in pretty poor form lately with just 1 win in their last 5 games and they’ll find this match difficult.

Reading have a home match against Chelsea in the EPL on Wednesday so their focus may be on that rather than this game.  They know survival is their only goal and they’d happily give up the FA Cup if it meant an extra 3 points in the league.  Sheffield United has the opposite problem as their weekend match was postponed and they don’t have another game for a week after this one so they have no reason at all not to play a full strength side.
