An all League One clash in this replay between Sheffield United and Preston. The winner will go on to face Man Utd at home (although Cambridge will try to stop that) For the last few seasons Sheffield United have really overperformed in cup matches. Progressing to the later rounds of both FA and Capital One cup. I expect them to do so again here against an out of form Preston. Sheffield are in 6^th position with 39 points from 25 games, they are 8 points behind todays rivals but do have two games in hand. Recent form for United sees 3 wins, 2 draws and 2 defeats – but that does include 3 games against Premiership sides (win against QPR and draw and a loss v Spurs)  Sheffield United will be without new signings Jason Holt, John Brayford, Kieron Freeman and Paul Coutt – but they will have a few fresh legs as 10 players were rotated out in the weekend loss. Preston are on a terrible run, having not  won in 7 matches (4 draws and 3 losses) They have faced Sheff United  4 times in the last year and have yet to beat them (3 draws and a loss) Preston will be without cup-tied duo Daniel Johnson and Sam Johnstone.

Very close game this but the cup brings the best out of United and I do expect it again. I prefer them with the -0.25 option. With the filip of a massive moneyspinner as Man Utd at home loom for the  winner this will be a tense affair. We get paid on a Sheff united win, a draw sees half stake returned.
