My 2nd best bet of the day comes at the Ricoh as Coventry host Oldham. A few weeks back I had the home side down as one to watch. However its not gone to plan but they look back on track. The return of their key man and defensive lynchpin Reda Johnson will be a huge boost too. Its no surprise he returns and they win 1-0. Recent return of 3 wins, 1 draws and 2 losses in last six isn’t a bad return. Home form for them sees 6 wins, 8 draws and 7 losses. They sit in 16th with 50 points but are just 3 point off the drop zone. Key man Reda Johnson is still out while Dom Samuel has returned to his club after an injury. Oldham have had a terrible recent run. They have not won in 4 games and in last 8 matches they are 2 wins, 2 draws and 4 losses. Away form sees 6 wins, 6 draws and 9 losses. Jo Mills is ruled out while Matt Sadler has left the club leaving no recognized left back.
Close game this one and I cannot see many goals. Johnson is back and that will firm up a Coventry side who look very solid now anyway. Oldham are struggling and I take the home side with a small handicap to overcome. We get pain on the Coventry win while a draw sees half stakes returned.
