These two sides were promoted together from England League 2 but Fleetwood for me look the better of the pair. Fleetwood have opened their debut season in League 1 and their highest ever position with three straight wins and they top the league with the only 100% record. Wins over Crewe, Notts County and Scunthorpe with 5 scored and just 1 conceded show their strength. Fleetwood only have one new injury concern, defender Nathan Pond. Chesterfield have a glut of missing men with Armand Gnanduillet, midfielders Ollie Banks and Jay O'Shea and forward Dan Gardner all out still. Joining them in a packed treatment room will be Ritchie Humphreys and Drew Talbot, both ruled out for a few months after last match.
