Notts County were one of my favourites sides early season as they over performed week after week. A small squad has seen a few problems lately and they cant buy a win. They are down to 12th after not winning in 6 games (1 draw and 5 losses – scoring 2 and conceding 12) – Home form for them sees 3 wins, 2 draws and 6 defeats – only 4 teams have gained less points at home. Some new blood for the home side with Strikers Kwame Thomas and Billy Daniels and winger Will Hayhurst all in on loan. A slight doubt over Mike Edwards, the only new problem. Crewe are in good form and have moved out of the relegation places. They are up to 20th position after a 4 game unbeaten run (3 wins and 1 draw) included there is a win against league leaders Bristol City. Away from home Crewe are showing 2 wins, 2 draws and 7 losses. George Ray, Adam Dugdale, Harry Davis and Anthony Grant should all be available after missing the last match.
Crewe being a bit undervalued here. They are picking up in performances and results and are a much better outfit all round. Notts County are going backwards and confidence has bottomed out. With a small start I take Crewe, we get paid on a win – if game is drawn we get half a win and half stake returned.
