I was a fan of Scunthorpe early January as they hit a hot streak – they quickly went off the boil though and now we must oppose. They are down to 20th and just 1 point off the bottom 4. At home their record is 6 wins, 4 draws and 8 losses, scoring just 18 goals in 19 matches. Recent form is poor with a winless run of 9 games with 4 draws and 5 losses. No new injury news for the home side and they do have goalkeeper Sam Slocombe returning. Peterborough have mixed the good with the bad since Darren Ferguson called it a day. They are still in with a shout of the playoffs as they sit in 9th with 56 points and are just 1 point off the top 6. Away form shows 8 wins, 2 draws and 9 losses – while last 6 sees 4 wins and 2 losses. Peterborough too can call on the same players as last match but have added two who missed last match in Ricardo Santos and Gaby Zakuani.
