CHELTENHAM - ROCHDALE -  PREDICTIONS AND PREVIEW: BETTING STATS AND FACTS

Cheltenham sit in 5th position after a poor run of form has seen them slide a little down the table. Just 1 win in seven matches has saw Mark Yates side struggling for form, also misfiring infront of goal. With 12 wins, 8 draws and 7 defeats Cheltenham are still in the playoff zone and are only 1 point behind the automatic spots with a game in hand. Harry Hooman is the only absentee for the game. Midfielder Darren Carter is hoping to extend his loan period by another month so is likely to start.

Rochdale sacked John Coleman in midweek and brought in Keith Hill. Rochdale were languishing in 15th with 10 wins, 6 draws and 12 losses. Such is the compact state of the league Rochdale are still only 6 points of the play offs but just 9 points off the relegations spots. Andy Haworth returns to the club and is likely to go straight into the team. Hill has only 1 player out (Reece Gray) so an almost full squad.

Cheltenham are only warm favourites here which is quite surprising. They are drifting too and can be backed at around 2.05 generally. Recent form has been poor for Cheltenham but they are definately worth a bet. At home they are very strong with 8 wins from 13 matches and only 2 defeats. Rochdale will be boosted by the new boss but I think the prices are slightly skewered. Cheltenham should be odds on for sure and 1.85 would be around my price. Cheltenham are superior to Rochdale first eleven for sure. Cheltenham have 8 points on Rochdale plus a game in hand so should be a lot shorter.
