Chelsea return to the Bridge following the most impressive opening game of all teams in the league. They put Burnley to the sword at Turf Moor with some incisive, passing football. Fabregas looked like he had played for Chelsea all his life as he drifted across the field. Diego Costa looked sharp and was eager to get on the end of everything. Plus he was a constant menace to defenders with his selfless harrying. Chelsea have no injury problems. Leicester looked good in parts against Everton in a 2-2 draw. Everton didn’t seem to really get going which was a big surprise for anyone who watched them last season. Leicester looked good in attack but awful in defence and they may struggle against the big boys. Matthew Upson, Daniel Drinkwater and Matt James are confirmed out while striker Jamie Vardy and midfield man Marc Albrighton are doubts.
Chelsea were superb against Burnley but Burnley will be amongst the favourites to finish bottom this season. Many teams however would have been torn apart by Chelsea as they were rampant on Monday. Schurrle, Fabregas and Costa looked very good together. Chelsea looked a solid in all areas and were playing high tempo football. Leicester were awful defensively against Everton and could get hammered here.
