Newcastle go into one of the most difficult games of the Premiership season (away tie to Chelsea) with no manager and a host of missing players. Chelsea are on the hunt of 3 points after uncharacteristically taking a beating at Spurs. Chelsea are joint top of the league with 46 points after 14 win, 4 draws and 2 losses. They haven’t won in 2 which although not  a complete disaster has let City back in. They have a completely fit squad which is a worry for Newcastle. Toon go into this one all over the place. They are down in 10^th with 27 points, but have reserve boss John Carver at the helm. Recent form sees 1 win in 6 with 2 draws and 3 losses. Out for them here are plenty of key men. Keeper Krul finally returns though and that is a slight boost. Out are defenders Steven and Ryan Taylor. With doubts over Jaanmaat and Colocinni. Midfield misses Tiote, Obertan, Aarons,Abeid and de Jong with further doubts over Colbeck, Sissoko and Ameobi.  Main striker Cisse is out on International duty.

Chelsea would be a great bet here anyway as I cannot see them going three games without a win. They are fully stocked with players too. Newcastle are decimated with injuries and international call ups. I take a comfortable home win here and don’t see Toon scoring. The Asian handicaps look a little high for me though and I go with the “win to nil” market as backup.  Four of the last seven games for Chelsea have finished “win to nil”.
