CHELSEA - SOUTHAMPTON: BETTING TIPS AND PREDICTIONS
Chelsea in good form of later but they still keep throwing in the odd shocker, such as the losses to Newcastle and Basel (twice). Which is very un-Mourinho like indeed. Chelsea sit in 3rd with 7 wins, 3 draws and 2 defeats. Recent form sees them win 3, draw 1 and lose 2. Samuel Eto’o and David Luiz are unavailable here. Southampton are still performing well, but have had a few blips over the last month or so. Its to be expected from the surprise team of the season. They sit in 7th just 2 points behind Chelsea, overall record reads 6 wins, 4 draws and 2 losses. They have the clear best defence in the league with just 7 goals conceded. Last week they lost to Arsenal 2-0, but more than matched The Gunners for the majority of the game. No one out for Saints who are at full strength.
I fancy Chelsea to win in fairly straightforward fashion here. I think Southampton although solid in all areas just like a proper top level striker. Osvaldo doesn’t fit the bill as I don’t think he is a good fit for Southampton. I take a low scoring win to nil for the home side.
