CHELSEA V WEST HAM UNITED PREDICTIONS AND PREVIEW: BETTING STATS AND FACTS

This is Chelsea’s first EPL match in over 2 weeks thanks to Cup duty so they remain 2 points behind Tottenham in 4^th place in the table.  They do have a game in hand away at Fulham and can retake 3^rd place if they win it.  Chelsea’s recent Premiership form is poor for a club in the top 4 with 2 wins, 1 draw and 2 defeats in their last 5 games.  They still enjoy a 5 point lead over 5^th place Arsenal but need to win more than 2 in 5 if they want to keep the gap.

West Ham are 12^th in the table on 33 points from 28 games.  There are 5 teams all on 33 points so they could go anywhere from 10^th to 15^th by the end of the weekend.  Their 9 point gap over the relegation zone should be enough to see them stay safe but they would be happy to pick up a few more wins over the coming weeks.

Chelsea have no new injury worries and have a full squad to pick from except Romeu who is out for the season.  West Ham meanwhile are missing Jow Cole, Matthew Taylor and Danny Potts but they’ll hope Kevin Nolan and Mark Noble will be back to full fitness in time.
