Huddersfield host Derby in a game between two sides showing signs of improvement. Huddersfield had to cope with the deadline day loss of talisman Jordan Rhodes. Derby brought a few in themselves and reaped the reward in the last game with their first win of the season.

Huddersfield lost Rhodes who at this level is almost irreplaceable. They managed to bring in forward James Vaughan and winger Adam Hammill both on loan and have made inquiries for Jermaine Beckford. Huddersfield have had a decent start to life in the higher division, they continue to line up in the 4-4-2 formation. Last game out they played a good game in a 2-2 away draw with Ipswich, they had a fantastic chance to take all three points but Vaughan missed a vital penalty and they had to settle for the draw. Derby finally showed their full capabilities with a 5-1 demolition of a hapless Watford side. Rams new signing Connor Sammon was a handful in his first home appearance for Nigel Clough's side since his £1.2million move from Wigan and he managed a goal on his debut and gave a top performance against a poor Watford side. Derby could have had many more goals as they carved out chance after chance,  such was their attacking intent. They again lined up in a 4-4-2 and this was the first game of the season where they did manage to stay on top.

Betting Prediction - Derby are finally looking the part after showing glimpes in all matches this season, Huddersfield will be gutted they lost Rhodes but they have the means now to pick up some more loan signings and get a few players in January if needed. Derby to win 3.50 pinnacle.
