ARSENAL - CHELSEA PREDICTIONS - BETTING STATS

TEAM NEWS AND RUN OF PLAY

Arsenal are slowly going about their business and are not attracking many headlines. They have quickly got over the loss of both Van Persie and Song. In the process they have slightly altered their style to accomadate this. The defence has been put through its paces by Arsenal defensive legend Steve Bould and his input has led the to the backline resembling the Arsenal defence of old. With just 2 goals conceded in 5 they are looking solid. Attack looks as potent as ever with new boys Podolski and Cazorla slotting in and looking like they've been their for years. With Jack Wilshire back soon its all looking good for Arsene Wenger. Szczesny, Sagna and Rosicky are sidelined.

The home side is going through a revolution of their own. Moving away from the power and pace game of Drogba and Essien they are moving to an almost Barcelona type possessiona and passing interplay style. With the smaller, dynamic players Hazard, Oscar and Mata all supporting the lone frontman.  Chelsea are in great form and the most ominous thing for their premier rivals is they're not out of even their 1st gear yet. There is plenty to come for sure from Stamford Bridge. John Terry is out suspended for four games and Daniel Sturridge is a major doubt here.

1X2 BETTING PREDICTIONS AND PREVIEW

2.25 on Arsenal (Willhill) is the selection as the home side seem on the big side in this battle between the unbeaten sides. John Terry will be a huge loss, David Luiz still does not look like a top level centre half and despite only conceding 2 league goals Chelsea have had and easy run of matches and have looked shakey in these games. Against Juventus they were all over the place at times and this is a bad omen as Arsenal possess some wonderful attacking talent.

ASIAN HANDICAP PREDICTIONS AND PREVIEW

Arsenal on the -0.25 handicap at 1.90 is the selection (Pinnacle) The game should be a really close affair as these big match ups usually are but for me Arsenal look the more all round side. Chelsea give too much away at the back and for all the quality in defence they do not look the real deal and this may be their downfall. Cazorla, Arteta and Podolski could have a field day here if they click.

TOTAL GOALS PREDICTIONS AND PREVIEW

Under goals 2.03 (188bet) seems mega-value and  great bet to start the weekend Premier League programme with. Both sides will give maximum respect to their opponents and in these games they sometimes cancel each other out. With neither side looking to give up unbeaten records a close game is expected. Neither side is really killing teams off and this looks a sure "unders" bet. Arsenal vs Chelsea last year ended 0-0. The main argument against this is that Chelsea is weakened in defence, and if Arsenal first start scoring and playing flowing football it might be a game to forget for the visitors. However, that is not our main scenario given the above mentioned setting.
