The Saturday evening kick-off in the Premier League this week sees Chelsea take on Newcastle, we will preview the match and the betting prices to give you the best possible chance of choosing a profitable bet.

Chelsea has taken the early lead in the EPL thanks to a midweek game against Reading being moved forward.  They have comfortable won their first two games, 2-0 away at Wigan and 4-2 at home to Reading, and their new look side seems in excellent form.  The addition of Eden Hazard has brought new life to the Chelsea attack and he has been the decisive player in each game so far.

Newcastle faced a tough opening game at home to Spurs.  They were matched for the majority of the match by their opponents but thanks to a late penalty kick won and converted by Ben Arfa they came away with all 3 points.

Total Goals

A high scoring game is expected between these two attacking sides.  Over 2.5 goals is set at 1.67 with the under at 2.36.  The over here is certainly favourite but I think the current price is fair and don’t see value in it.

Asian Handicap

Chelsea are strong favourites for this match at home with the Asian Line set at Chelsea -1 @ 1.89 and Newcastle +1 @ 2.08.  Chelsea have shown some excellent attacking flair in their first two games but have also seemed prone to mistakes at the back, this game will be decided on how well each time can cope with the excellent attacking options of their opponents.
