Southampton are looking for their first points in the EPL this season, but they face a huge task against last year’s runners up Manchester United.  We will preview the match and give predictions of the top betting markets.

Southampton had a baptism of fire in their first game in the EPL after promotion last year.  They were away to reigning Champions Man City, and few gave them any chance of causing an upset.  They almost did however with two second half goals giving them a surprise lead which was ultimately overturned by City.  They have since lost 2-0 at home to Wigan in a game they would have targeted as a must win if they are to survive in the EPL.

Man United have had a poor start to the league campaign themselves with a first week defeat to Everton followed up by a nervy display against Fulham at Old Trafford.  They will be relieved to have still got the win last week but with an injury list including Ferdinand, Rooney, Jones and Smalling, things are not going to be easy for United.

Total Goals

Many goals are expected in this match with Over 2.5 goals priced at 1.69 and the Under at 2.3 with BetVictor.  United are missing Rooney but will still be able to call on the serviced of Van Persie to lead the line.
