EVERTON V NORWICH CITY PREDICTIONS AND PREVIEW: BETTING STATS AND FACTS

Everton has made a strong start to the season and are up in 5th place with 20 points from 12 games.  They’ve won 5, drawn 5 and lost 2 this season, averaging 1.83 goals scored and 1.33 conceded.  Their recent form has been a bit inconsistent though with 1 win, 1 loss and 3 draws in their last 5 games.  These games have averaged 3.2 goals and 4 of the 5 have ended with over 2.5 goals.

Norwich are in 13th in the EPL with 14 points from 12 games.  They have won 3, drawn 5 and lost 4 games, they have scored just 0.75 goals a game while conceding 1.5.  Their recent form has been impressive with 3 wins and 2 draws in their last 5 matches.  Those games have seen just 1.0 goals per game and none have been over 2.5 goals.

TEAM NEWS AND RUN OF PLAY

Everton are well known for having a poor first half to their season before coming good which makes this year’s excellent start all that more interesting.  They are in close fight for 4th place with just 5 points between 3rd place Chelsea and 7th place West Ham.

This week will be a stretch for Everton’s squad however with Kevin Mirallas still out injured and Fellaini suspended for picking up 5 yellows.  Fellaini especially will be a big miss as he has been Everton’s top player this season but they should have the players available to cover for him and I expect Leon Osman to play a further forward role.

Norwich took a while to get going under new manager Chris Hughton, but he seems to have found a winning formula.  They have won 3 of their last 5 matches, drawing the other two, and have conceded just 1 goal throughout.  This is the best defensive record in the league over the last month and they are well deserving of their move up the table.

EVERTON V NORWICH CITY PREDICTIONS: 1X2 BETTING PREVIEW

Everton are strong favourites at home for this one as you’d expect with their excellent start.  They are undefeated at home with 3 wins and 2 draws so far, scoring 10 goals and conceding 6.  Norwich are yet to win away in their excellent run, with 2 straight draws.

Everton to win is the bet here, visit Interwetten to back it at 1.50.

EVERTON - NORWICH CITY PREDICTIONS: ASIAN HANDICAP PREVIEW

With Everton’s 3 home wins this year only one has been by more than a single goal.  With that added to Norwich’s excellent defensive record lately, with just 1 goal conceded in 5 matches, I can see this game being very tight with a single goal deciding it.

I favour Norwich +1 in the AH market, this means any draw or Norwich win will win the bet and a 1 goal loss will refund the stake.

Pinnacle are top price for Norwich +1 at 2.20.

EVERTON - NORWICH CITY PREDICTIONS: TOTAL GOALS PREVIEW

Everton games have seen an average of 3.2 goals per game over their last 5 matches while Norwich games have seen just 1.0 goals per game.

The market has Over 2.5 Goals as a strong favourite but I think the value is with the Under which is available at 2.30 with William Hill.
