It’s a sign of the changing fortunes of these two teams that you can get odds of just under Even money on Man Utd at home to Southampton. Not so long back you wouldn’t get bigger than about 1/3 on Utd in a fixture like this. This season has been horrific for injuries for Man Utd but they are nearly fully stocked here. Ashley Young is the only man unavailable so it will be interesting to see how LVG lines them up. He has added Victor Valdes to the squad too. United are in 3rd position with 37 points from 20 games. Home form is excellent with 8 wins, 1 draw and 1 loss (2^nd best in league) form for them sees an unbeaten run of 11 games with 8 wins and 3 draws. With Van Persie, Rooney and Falcao all netting in recent games its looking good. Southampton are playing well too and are just 1 point below United. Away form for them sees 4 wins, 1 draw and 1 loss. Recent form sees 3 wins, 1 draw and 2 losses.  Southampton are without Mane and Yoshida (international duty) Nathaniel Clyne and Jack Cork are available as is new signing Eljero Elia. 

I think United will have too much for Southampton. The Saints look very good indeed but they seem to struggle against the top 5 sides. They are capable of beating the rest of the league no problems. Here United will have almost full strength and for me at this price we can have no worries.
