MANCHESTER CITY V WIGAN PREDICTIONS

City look to keep their strong recent form going while Wigan try and move out of the bottom 3 again. 

Manchester City are 2^nd in the Premiership with 65 points form 31 matches which leaves them 15 points behind rivals Manchester United, but with a game in hand.  They have found some good form recently, beating Man Utd at Old Trafford before beating Chelsea in the semi final of the FA Cup.  It is too late for them to challenge for the title this year but they are big favourites for the cup final, which will be a repeat of this fixture, and should come out of the season with a trophy.

Wigan are 18^th in the EPL with 31 points from 31 matches which leaves them 3 points from safety but with 2 games in hand over the sides around them.  They won’t expect anything from this game but they really need to pick up a win soon or the gap between them and safety will grow.

City are likely to be missing David Silva for this match as he is yet to recover from injury.  Wigan have a lengthier list with Miyaichi, Pollitt, Ramis, Watson and Crusat all missing.
