MANCHESTER UNITED V CHELSEA BETTING TIPS

The title may already be clinched for Manchester United but that won’t take anything away from this excellent tie between two of the top sides around.

Manchester United have had one of the best seasons in recent memory and deservedly won the title with weeks to spare.  They have been excellent in the league this year and will want to finish with as many points as possible to show their superiority.  They played a full strength side away to Arsenal last week and with just 3 league games left this season and no cups remaining I expect them to name a top side again.

Chelsea are still in the battle for a top 4 place and currently hold a 1 point lead over Arsenal and 3 point lead over Tottenham.  They still have to play Tottenham so it’s very important they keep their 3 point gap over them.

Chelsea also played on Thursday in the Europa League semi final which they won 3-1 against Basel.  They have had a huge number of games this season with their various competitions and I’d be worried about the fitness of the players at this late stage.

United are without Young, Scholes and Fletcher through injury while Chelsea are missing Romeu.

Chelsea should have the most motivation here as they still have a top 4 place to fight for but Manchester United are not a club who will take their foot off the gas at the end of the season.  They will want to prove they are the strongest team in the league this year and gain as many points as possible.
