Manchester United v Newcastle predictions: Facts and figures
Manchester United is 4-1-1 in their last six Premiership games. At home Man U is 5-0-1 in their last six, with a goal average of 3.83. Five out of six went over 2.5. In that interval Manchester United managed just one clean sheet, but scored in every game. In fact Man U scored two plus in five out of six as well.
Newcastle is 2-0-4 in the Premier League in their last six. Away from home they’re 0-3-3 in their last six, with a goal average of 2.67. In this interval Newcastle got zero clean sheets. They did however score in five out of six.
Team News and Run of Play
Manchester United is still without Nani, Rafael, Kagawa and Anderson. Their squad depth should be able to cope with it. Valencia is injury free and would be a likely starter in front of Nani anyway. Ashley Young is also fit again. Vidic is back and that should improve this Man Utd side immensely at the back. Newcastle is still without several influential first team players. Ben Arfa, Steven Taylor and Yohan Cabaye are still missed due to injury. The strong midfielder Cheik Tiote is ruled out due to suspension. These sides have met at Old Trafford three times since 2010. United has won two, and one ended 1-1. Manchester United has been in the driving seat in these games. In October these sides met in Newcastle. Manchester United won deservedly 3-0. I can’t see this Newcastle team having enough to threaten Manchester United away at the minute.
Manchester United v Newcastle predictions for 1x2
As one can expect the Manchester United odds aren’t high. 1.27 from Pinnacle Sports is as good as it gets. Given the massive offense and Vidic coming back I think it’s worth backing though. Perhaps you want to use Manchester United in an accumulator?

Manchester United v Newcastle predictions for Asian Handicap
Half of Manchester United’s home games this season have been won with a goal superiority of two or more. Newcastle is going to have a tough time defensively, that’s for sure. The reverse fixture this season showed United can rip them apart. I can’t see why they can’t do it again. I am willing to look at the -2 handicap. Basically; if United win by two we get our money back. If they win by three or more we win. The best odds for United -2 at the moment is offered by Pinnacle Sports.
Take 2.29 from Pinnacle Sports here if you, like me think Manchester United will win big
Manchester United v Newcastle predictions for Total Goals
Obviously the Over 2.5 is a massive Favorite here. In Manchester United’s last six home games four have ended with four goals or more. Newcastle has been a bit tighter, but against the strongest offense of the League looking to get back to winning ways after the away 1-1 draw to Swansea the 3 goals line looks tempting. This means we get our money back if it is exactly three goals scored, and win the stake x the odds if the game contains four or more goals. Again, 1.69 from Pinnacle Sports is best in show.
If you can see many goals in this game, bet the Over 3 goals line at 1.69 by clicking here
