MANCHESTER UNITED V WEST HAM UNITED PREDICTIONS AND PREVIEW: BETTING STATS AND FACTS

This FA Cup replay coms after an excellent first meeting between the sides ended in a 2-2 draw.  West Ham fought back excellently after going a gaol down and looked to have won the game holding a 2-1 lead after 90 minutes.  United though fail to give up and with substitute Robin van Persie on the field goals are always likely.  A 91^st minute strike sealed the draw for United and set us up for an excellent return tie at Old Trafford.

Manchester United have a 7 point lead at the top of the EPL and are in excellent form.  They have won 4 straight Premiership games by an aggregate score of 12-4 and look almost uncatchable with this lead.

West Ham has had a strong season in their return to the EPL and are currently in 11^th place, well outside the relegation fight.  They have brought in a few players this window who have improved the squad so I’d expect them to continue their strong run in the second half of the season and easily achieve their main goal of Premier League survival.

Manchester United have a tough league game at Tottenham this weekend so they may be resting starters here in preparation for that match.  I’d still expect a strong team including Anderson, Giggs and Hernandez to take the field though so don’t expect a second string side.

Manchester United are huge favourites here and with their home record this year you can see why.  In the EPL they have won 8 straight matches at old Trafford, including a win over West Ham.  I don’t see them slipping up tonight and even with stars like RvP being rested they should have too much for West Ham.
