Newcastle are decimated with injury for this one. Missing are the following: Colloccini, Dummett, Haidara and Steven Taylor –all from the defence and leaving them without a fit central defender. Missing from the middle are Tiote, de Jong, Abeid and Aarons. Main striker Cisse is suspended and will be a huge loss. Newcastle are in 11th with 35 points from 29 games. Form isn’t great with 1 win, 2 draw and 3 losses. Arsenal have a few out but that’s no change. They are in 3rd at the moment and are motoring along. They are have won the last 5 games in all competitions and have in fact won 13 of their last 15 matches. They are only 1 point of Man City in 3rd and although not really mentioned in a title race are in it for sure.
Arsenal could be a decent outside bet for the Premiership. Unnoticed they have won a series of games and are now just a point off second place. With players back all the time from injury they can sustain a challenge. Newcastle are treading water at the moment and I don’t see them putting up much of a fight v Arse.
