Newcastle were battered in midweek despite Everton not doing much. A really crazy statement but a 3-0 win was attained with Everton not really dominating the match. Newcastle will hope new striker Doumbia gives them some attacking thrust. Toon are now in danger as they sit in 18th with 21 points and are now 2 points from safety. Home form reads 3 wins, 5 draws and 4 defeats. Recent league form reads 1 win, 1 draw and 4 defeats. Newcastle are missing Krul, Lascelles, Haidara, Anita, Tiote, Obertan and Cisse.
