NORWICH CITY V SOUTHAMPTON PREDICTIONS AND PREVIEW: BETTING STATS AND FACTS

Norwich are 13^th in the EPL with 32 points from 28 matches which has them comfortably clear of the relegation zone.  They have been on a mixed run of form lately with 1 win, 3 draws and 1 defeat in their last 5 matches and will feel they can push for a top half finish with their upcoming matches.

Southampton are 16^th in the table with 27 points form 28 matches which has them just 3 points above the relegation.  They will be very disappointed with a 2-1 home defeat at the hands of QPR last week, a win there could have seen them put a decent gap between them and the relegation zone.  They must bounce back in this game as they have Liverpool and Chelsea up after this game.

Both teams have no new injury worries and the only player missing will be Norwich goalkeeper John Ruddy who has been out for a number of months.

This is a difficult match to call with both teams having very different levels of form at times this season.  Norwich were on one of the longest unbeaten runs of the season earlier in the year before going on a 10 game run without a win so inconsistency has really hurt them.  Southampton too have had some fantastic performances over the past few months, specifically against the top 2 manager clubs, then at other times have dropped points in matches you would expect them to win, specifically last week at home to QPR.
