QPR V WIGAN PREDICTIONS

A real relegation 6 pointer takes place on Sunday and anything but a win for QPR will spell the end of any hope they have of retaining their Premier League place.  Wigan are aiming for another end of season run to stay safe and a win here would take them back out of the relegation zone.

QPR are 19^th in the EPL with 23 points from 31 matches and are 8 points from safety.  They really need to win at least 5 matches of their remaining 7 if they are going to survive and the odds of that are slim to none!  QPR have lost two straight matches, both 3-2 away defeats and another defeat here would end their season.

Wigan are 18^th in the Premier League with 30 points from 30 matches and are just 1 point off safety with a game in hand.  Their form has really picked up lately and they have won 3 of their last 4 matches.  This is typical of Wigan over the past few seasons, look certainties to go down before pulling off a late winning run to dramatically survive.

QPR will be missing Wright-Philips, Campbell, Young and Diakite but hope Traore and Fabio will be fit enough to play.  Wigan meanwhile are missing Miyaichi, Pollitt, Ramis, Watson and Crusat.
