READING V QPR PREDICTIONS

This has to be the most pointless TV match I have ever seen.  Two sides who are definitely going to be relegated fight it out for who will finish bottom and who will finish second bottom, not exactly a mouth-watering Super Sunday tie!

Reading are bottom of the Premiership with 24 points from 34 games which leaves them 10 points from safety.  They have been in a terrible run recently with 8 defeats in their last 9 matches and will be back in the Championship next season.

QPR are also on 24 points from 34 games but are ahead of Reading on goal difference.  They had a mini resurgence under Harry Redknapp but fell away again and have lost 4 of their last 5 matches and have no chance of staying up now.  The big worry for QPR is the obscene amounts of money they spent on transfer fees and player wages in the hope of staying up.  They purchased almost an entire squad during the last two transfer windows and have a bloated and overpaid group of players who they’ll have to sell very cheaply to get them off the wage bill in the Championship or they’ll make a huge loss.

Reading will be missing Federici and Roberts through injury while QPR are without Townsend, Taarabt, Traore, Wright-Phillips and Campbell.
