The tables are turned in the North London derby for the 1st time in many years as its Spurs the dominating force. They are currently 2nd favourites for the title and have as good a chance as any. Overall they have 54 points from 28 games. Home form reads 8 wins, 4 draws and 2 losses. Recent form is tainted by last match loss at West Ham. Before that they were on a run of 6 consecutive wins. Spurs will miss Dembele and Vertonghen still. Arsenal are struggling to keep pace and the 2-1 home loss to Swansea was poor. They are now in 3rd with 51 points. Away form for them reads 7 wins, 3 draws and 4 defeats. They are without Petr Cech and the giant stopped has been tremendous this season. Also out will be Cazorla, Rosicky, Koscielny, Oxlade and Wilshire. Welbeck was rested midweek and only featured 20 mins or so, he is good to go here for this one.
This is really make or break for both sides. If Arsenal lose they are surely out the race for the title. Spurs stuttered when it mattered most themselves with a loss to West Ham but the Hammers are a tougher ask then Swansea. For this one I think both sides will seek to limit damage. A draw is the best option for me.
