TOTTENHAM V SOUTHAMPTON BETTING TIPS
Tottenham are in a tough fight for a top 4 place and can afford no more slip ups in their final 4 matches. Southampton can still finish top half and are looking well clear of the relegation fight.
Spurs have dropped a number of points recently with just 2 wins in their last 6 matches. They snatched a late equaliser for a 2-2 draw last week at Wigan and now find themselves 3 points behind Chelsea in 3rd and 2 behind Arsenal in 4th, albeit with a game in hand over Arsenal. It is still in Tottenham’s hands but an away match at Chelsea next week will be tough.
Southampton had been in great form until a 3-0 drubbing at home to West Brom last week. They’ll be hoping it was just an off day and they can get back to top form to try and finish in the top half, as they are just 3 points behind 10th placed West Ham.
Tottenham again will be missing Sandro and Kaboul who are out for the season but have a squad able to cope with that loss. Southampton should be at full strength.
Tottenham know they can’t afford any slip ups here and I think the late fightback against Wigan will have given them some determination not to go behind in this game and I expect a comfortable win.
