TEAM NEWS AND RUN OF PLAY

Spurs will be majorly disappointed by last week’s result, losing a 1-0 lead in the 90^th minute and somehow losing the game against Everton.  This isn’t the first time they have dropped points late in games this year and manager Andre Villas-Boas really has to get a grip on it before it threatens the confidence of the team.  They players Spurs have should be able to cope with such pressure as the majority of them have been fighting at the top of tables and played in the Champions League.

Gareth Bale will again be missing for Spurs which is a huge loss for them, he’ll be joined on the sidelines by Kaboul and Dawson so I’d expect the same side that started last week to come out here again. 

Swansea had been looking like one of the most dangerous sides in the EPL over the past few weeks but a surprise 4-3 loss at home to Norwich has dented their run.  A win would have had them above Tottenham in the league in 5^th place.  They have some winnable games over the Christmas period so will have the goal of moving up from their current 8^th place position.

Spurs are favourites here as the home side.  Bale being out will be a hindrance to them but they should still have enough quality to see off Swansea.  They have won 4 straight at home in all competitions.
