Close game at White Hart Lane but I believe there is some value in the away side. Its been a tough week or so for Spurs who have dropped from 2 cups. They were blasted out of Europa by Fiorentina and tamely lost to Chelsea 2-0 in Capital One final at Wembley. Indeed Spurs have not won in 5 games now. Those 5 games cramped into 18 days which means they may be a bit heavy legged also. They drop down to 7th and are 6 points behind United. Spurs home form shows 7 wins, 3 draws and 4 defeats. No injury concerns which is a positive. Swansea are in good form and have moved up to 8th – they are only 4 points behind Spurs which shows how well they are playing. Away form has improved and they show 4 wins, 3 draws and 6 defeats. Recently they are 3 wins, 1 draw and 2 losses. Tom Carroll is out but Gylfi Siggurdsson returns to the squad.
Two sides who I believe are closer than the odds suggest. Swans are just 4 points behind Spurs now as they have gone under the radar with a string of decent results. They are keeping things very tight also which is good news as we get a high handicap start here. With +0.75 we get paid on a Swansea win or draw. A 1 goal loss gets us half stake return.
