TEAM NEWS AND RUN OF PLAY

Tottenham’s poor run of form has coincided with Moussa Dembele’s injury and it is touch and go whether he will be fit to return for this match.  They will still be without Assou-Ekotto, Kaboul and Parker who are out long term and Emmanuel Adebayor is suspended after his red card against Arsenal.

Spurs are in drastic need of a win as the pressure mounts on manager Andre Villas-Boas.  They will revert to 4-2-3-1 for this match with Defoe up front himself and Dempsey in behind, they need a big performance from Dempsey in this game as he has been anonymous in his few previous appearances. 

West Ham have no new injury worries for this match, with Diarra, Taylot, Collison and Vaz Te all out long term and Benayoun and Jarvis fighting to get back to fitness in time for Sunday.  It is important they get at least one of the wide players back in time as against Stoke last week they looked poor out wide and struggled to get service into Carroll and Nolan in the middle.
