WBA V ASTON VILLA PREDICTIONS AND PREVIEW: BETTING STATS AND FACTS

WBA are 7^th in the EPL with 33 points from 22 matches.  They have won 10, drawn 3 and lost 9 while scoring 31 goals and conceding 30.  Their recent form has seen 2 wins and 3 defeats in their last 5 games with an aggregate score of 7-9.  4 of the 5 games had over 2.5 goals.

Aston Villa are 18^th in the table with 19 points from 22 matches.  They have won 4, drawn 7 and lost 11, scoring just 17 goals and conceding 42.  Their recent form has seen 1 draw and 4 defeats in their last 5 matches with an aggregate score of 2-18.  4 of the 5 matches ended with over 2.5 goals.

WBA have really struggled recently after a fantastic first half of the season.  They have lost 4 and drawn 1 of their last 5 in all competitions and even their usual excellent home form has seen just 1 win in their last 5 matches.  They are obviously in no trouble of falling into a relegation fight but it’ll be disappointing for the club to be so close to a European place and face this drop in form. 

Villa are also in disastrous form which has led them into the relegation zone.  They have lost 4 of their last 5 games and still have a huge injury list to contend with which will make gaining points in the short term very difficult.  On the injury front they are missing a huge 8 players, more than any other side in the league.  With a young squad that already needed investment this could prove fatal to their Premier League survival.

West Brom should have Shane Long and Fortune back at full fitness for this one although I’d expect Romelo Lukaku to keep his place up front after scoring 3 goals in his last 2 league matches.

Despite their poor recent form I think WBA have far more quality than Villa who are struggling really badly with injuries and have almost no confidence after 4 losses in their last 5 matches.
