WBA V NEWCASTLE PREDICTIONS

West Brom are comfortably midtable and don’t have much left to play for this year while Newcastle need to gain a few more points to make sure they stay away from the relegation zone this season.

WBA are 8^th in the Premiership with 44 points from 32 matches which looks to be their likely end position this season.  Many people tipped them to be in the relegation fight this year after losing manager Roy Hodgson so it’s been an excellent year for new boss Steve Clarke and his side. 

Newcastle are 13^th in the table with 36 points from 33 matches and only really need one more win to gain enough points to survive.  They were thrashed last week 3-0 by local rivals Sunderland which will have dented their confidence but they must put it behind them if they don’t want to be dragged further into the relegation fight.

West Brom will be without long term absentee’s Thorne and Gera, and Mulumbu will be suspended.  Newcastle have a lengthier list with Krul, Santon, Vuckic and Taylor all definitely out but they hope Coloccini and Elliot will make it back.
