TEAM NEWS AND RUN OF PLAY

WBA have fallen from one of the most in form teams in the Prem to one of the worst in the past few weeks.  They have lost 3 on the bounce, with defeats at Swansea and Arsenal, and a home defeat against Stoke.  They need to get back to winning ways quickly while they are still in touch with the top 4 or they could end up overtaken by the host of clubs behind them looking to move up.

West Ham are well clear of their initial goal which was to avoid relegation this year.  They will not be aiming for a top half finish which could be achievable if they manage to keep their squad fit.  For this game they will again be without Andy Carroll, but he has been replaced with Carlton Cole who has done an excellent job in the last 2 games he has started.  Mohammed Diame limped off after 70 minutes but West Ham are confident he’ll make it and he has been one of the most important players for them this year.  He was a very astute signing from Sam Allardyce who brought him in on a free from Wigan in the summer.
